Spam.a.lot.less! is provided by Software Design UK Limited (SDUK), a company registered in the United Kingdom. The place of supply of services is the United Kingdom, in which country jurisdiction applies to any contracts entered into.

Licences

Payment for each mailbox entitles the purchaser to one month's protection against Spam using the Spam.a.lot.less! suite of programs, run from the internet service provider used by SDUK. SDUK is not obliged to accept renewal of a licence and will reimburse the buyer with any licence fee paid during which the service has been withdrawn by SDUK. The buyer is under no obligation to renew the monthly licence. SDUK has the right to cease service at any time and accordingly has no right to recover any monies unpaid by the buyer.

No email or telephone support is provided by SDUK. Any support that the buyer negotiates with a third party (the reseller) must be governed exclusively by contract between the buyer and the reseller and SDUK accepts no responsibility for any part of that relationship.

The Spam.a.lot.less! service can be suspended by the buyer at any stage, with immediate effect. If the buyer is not satisfied in any way with any aspect of the Spam.a.lot.less! service, the buyer agrees to take all reasonable action to suspend the service immediately.


Open source licences

Extracts of various versions of the source code to the Spam.a.lot.less! engine is provided free of charge. The provision is made by way of licence free of charge and of royalties. The basis of the licence is that the software may be used only for the users own purposes and must not be used for resale in any way.

The user of any open source software provided must take care that the program does what they require. We make no representations regarding the reliability or accuracy of the programs. No responsibility can be accepted for any use whatsoever. Users may not use the software in or for any application for which they require acceptance of liability by us.


Privacy Policy

Subscriber information is collected and stored in a database to prevent unauthorised access to a subscriber's data, to collect emails for spam filtering and to forward "cleared" emails to a spam-free mailbox. Personal and corporate data is stored for internal administrative purposes, such as invoicing and communication. Statistical information of use and users is also stored to allow us to monitor and improve use of our services.

Temporary cookies are used to avoid users needing to log in every time they view every page within the restricted areas. No cookies are stored when a user closes the browser.

No data stored is used for any purpose other than our provision of services to our clients. Where stored data is required to be provided statutorily, only the minimum information is provided to satisfy our legal requirements.
